This downtown hideaway has the feel of an old city rather than a modern metropolis. With its wrought-iron grates, tall wooden doors, terrazzo floors and soaring stone ceilings, the vaulted arcade space feels almost churchlike. With such popular red-sauce dishes as eggplant Parmesan, handmade gnocchi and porcini-stuffed ravioli, the place has gained fans from near and far. So far, swinging Thursday and Friday nights with live Latin jazz and menu specials are nice draw for downtown office workers.

The food is awesome with vegetarian dishes that make your toes curl and a bohemian kind of decor that makes you feel like an insider. If you haven't seen what's beyond the rolling bookshelves you got another thing coming. Armando is awesome!!
